It is almost that time of year again. This year Fall officially begins on September 23rd. It is my favorite season. I love the colors of the leaves in orange, brown, green, gold and red. I love the clothes of the season also.

My daughter just turned 6, so up until now I’ve always tried to treat September 11 like any other day. However this year, I don’t know if that’s even possible. Since it’s the tenth anniversary of the attacks, the media has decided that it’s all 9/11, all the time, regardless of how we feel about it. As parents, we should be the ones deciding when and how our kids learn about 9/11, but the fact is even young children may hear about it, no matter how much we try to protect them.
