With spring and summer in full swing, art & craft show season is well under way and you're probably preparing for a few shows of your own. Here are 5 successful strategies for your next art & craft show so you can maximize your results:1. When creating your booth for art & craft shows, keep it simple to keep your costs low...design your booth to attract attention, but don't break the bank at the beginning. You can always add to your booth later as you make sales.2. Pick the events you sell at wisely and price appropriately...try to attend shows as a buyer before you ever sign up to do the show as a vendor. This will give you a good idea of what people are buying, what price points they are comfortable with, and what your competition is doing.3. Gather and share contact information at your events...plan to have an email sign-up sheet and business cards in your booth. This can be a fantastic opportunity to grow your marketing list and follow up with new contacts who were interested, but didn't convert to a sale at the show.4. Stay active when you're vending at an event by working on crafts in your booth to draw attention. People love to see how things are made and that will bring people to you.5. Set specific sales goals so you focus your efforts and make sure you know whether this is a show you should continue to do in the future. What tips do you have for vending at art & craft shows?Main image courtesy of shoshanaknits

I love chocolate peanut butter no-bake cookies, but my husband is allergic to peanut butter so I usually end up eating the entire batch all by myself. Probably not the best idea, especially since swimsuit season is right around the corner. So instead of the making the traditional no-bake cookies, I replaced the peanut butter [...]
